What is Mindfulness?

Being mindful is just what it sounds like: letting your awareness be with whatever you are doing, while you are doing it. This sounds like a simple task, but it's not always easy. We humans often get distracted, and our minds are going in 10 different directions.

Mindfulness is the ability to intentionally pay attention in a particular way, on purpose in the present moment, without judgement. In other words, it's the art of cultivating the ability to be in control of our minds instead of your minds being in control of us. Mindfulness is a way of life for many, and an important key to living life to its fullest!
